Ganesh Chaturthi: Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival celebrated in August or September. It marks the birth of Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed god. People install clay idols of Ganesha in their homes and public places and offer prayers and sweets.

Dussehra: Dussehra is a Hindu festival celebrated in October. It marks the victory of Lord Rama over the demon king Ravana. People burn effigies of Ravana and his brothers to celebrate the victory of good over evil.
